Version: For the latest version of the AE 6491, Albrecht has developed a technical innovation and integrated it into the CB radio. This innovation is the ANC and NRC noise filter.
The NRC filters out noise and other interference from incoming radio messages. This increases intelligibility.
The ANC reduces background noise that is picked up by the microphone during transmission. This reduces wind and engine noise in your radio messages.
The two noise filters combined provide unprecedented audio quality in the CB radio range.
In addition, the new VOX hands-free function enables communication in the vehicle without having to pick up the microphone. The radio recognises when the driver is speaking and automatically starts the radio transmission. The VOX hands-free function sensitivity and delay can be adjusted in several stages. This means that the CB radio can be used in vehicles without any concerns in accordance with the latest road traffic regulations § 23 (1a) StVO.
The multi-standard CB radio is characterised by extremely simple installation and can be used throughout Europe. The high-quality device offers 40 AM and 40 (80) FM channels and complies with all European radio standards. In addition, the radio can be connected both to 12 V and directly to 24 V, thereby eliminating the need for a 24 V/12 V voltage converter. Installation is also extremely simple. The Albrecht AE 6491 ANC’s low installation depth and the DIN mounting frame included mean that the device is ideal for installation in trucks or cars. The powerful 3 W front speaker provides powerful and clear sound, removing the need for an additional speaker.
The Albrecht AE 6491 ANC offers outstanding convenience thanks to its intuitive operation. The display on this multi-standard CB radio impresses with its clarity and large horizontal and vertical viewing angle. The display illumination can be switched between green and red as required. There are additional Up, Down and ASQ buttons on the microphone. The automatic squelch guarantees interference-free reception. The CTCSS function of the Albrecht AE 6491 ANC can suppress the sound of foreign radio traffic.
