LOCTITE SI 5900 is a low-strength, moisture curing, thixotropic silicone-based paste. Typical applications include flange sealing of punched sheet metal parts (timing case covers and oil sumps). The product is suitable for gap widths up to 1 mm, the skin formation time is just 15 minutes. It is a single-component product and therefore does not require mixing.
