Storage stability: 24 monthsRust protection 2000 PLUS is a particularly corrosion- and weather-resistant surface coating based on iron(III) oxide (hematite). The use of flaky high-purity iron oxide pigments achieves permanent, weather-resistant and water-repellent surface protection. Rust protection 2000 PLUS can be used wherever metallic constructions or equipment require long-term and visually appealing protection against extreme environmental and weather influences. Metal parts coated with WEICON rust protection 2000 PLUS did not show any corrosion during a salt spray test, even after more than 2000 hours. Rust protection 2000 PLUS can be used on hall and steel structures, iron railings, lattice towers, fences, handrails, balcony grates, roller shutters, outdoor lights, and on points particularly susceptible to corrosion.
