SENSOMATIC chain sharpener
The SENSOMATIC automatic chain sharpener is suitable for sharpening saw chains on chainsaws and forestry and timber harvesting machines.
It sharpens saw chains with a pitch of 1/4", 3/8", 3/8" LP, .325'' and .404".
A pneumatic chain tensioner is attached to the base. This secures and tensions the saw chain during sharpening.
This device also has two chain hangers on the base for chains that have not yet been sharpened so that they are easier to distinguish from the sharpened saw chains.
The chain sharpener is operated with a voltage of 12 V. It can be operated either via a 12 V battery or a 230 V ‚Üí 12 V voltage converter.
The machine has two setting options in sharpening mode:
• In normal sharpening mode, only the cutting links are sharpened.
• In 3-in-1 sharpening mode, all three edges (cutting tooth, tooth base and depth limiter) of the cutting links are sharpened. The edges are sharpened one after the other without the operator having to intervene.
The machine has two setting options in chain slide mode:
• Standard mode for sharpening standard saw chains.
• Tooth skip mode for sharpening saw chains with a pitch of 3/8" and alternating cutting angles.
The machine is also equipped with a sensor system:
• The sensor detects whether the next cutting link is a right or left cutting link. The sharpening head moves into the correct position to sharpen the cutting link without the operator having to intervene. The sensor also detects whether there are duplicate connecting links or a broken cutting link, and displays an error message where necessary.
